Community Centre Programme

We have two facilities, with a variety of sizes of rooms and a hall, which are available for use by groups and individuals at community rates. In addition there is a Counselling room available.

Childbirth and Parenting Education with Brenda Hinton: classes for parents and caregivers - Mondays, Tuesdays, 7.30-9.30pm; Wednesdays 10.30-1.30pm; Thursdays 6.30-8.30pm
Baby Yoga with Honor Milne: Tuesdays, 10.30-12.00pm Fridays, 9.00-12.00pm
Grey Lynn School: Tuesday Assemblies
Grey Lynn Senior Citizens: a support group for those over 55 years - Mondays 8.00-2.30pm
Mendl Creative Dance: Contemporary Creative Dance Classes for Children - Mondays 6.00-7.00pm; Thursdays 3.15-5.45pm
Narcotics Anonymous: a safe place to meet with other recovering addicts - Wednesdays, 6.45-9.00pm
Open Toy Box (Toy Library): Wednesdays 9.30 - 12.00am and Saturdays 9.30 - 12.00am (excluding Public Holidays)

St Columba: A Progressive Christian Anglican congregation - Sunday 10.30-11.30am
Kidz Space: A Progressive Christian Education Programme for Kids 3-12year -Sunday 10.30-11.30am
Cafe Columba: Friends of St Columba meet weekly to catch up and or discuss religious, philosophical and political things of interest- Sunday, 11.30-1pm.
Tongan Mission: an Anglican, Tongan language speaking, congregation and youth group - Sundays, 12.30-4pm.

Gardens

Grey Lynn Community Gardens: behind the hall there is a space for organic gardening and the development of permaculture.

Sanctuary, Peace and Maori Healing Gardens: Our Gardens are open every day for refreshment amidst the pressures and the busyness of city life.

The Valerie Lagorio Labyrinth

The Labyrinth prayer walk way is available for meditation and quiet reflection. A trained facilitator is available for groups and individuals.
